Talk about a casting coup! Soap Opera Digest posted the news that Thaao Penghlis is returning to ABC Daytime’s “General Hospital” as Victor Cassadine. The character of Victor was last seen in 1981 as he was sent off to prison, thanks to both Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary).
Penghlis would later appear on “Days of our Lives” as Tony/Andre DiMera, roles he would play off and on from 1981 to 2009. He also appeared on the soap, “Santa Barbara,” as Micah De Angelis from 1992-1993.
The actor is set to report on set early 2014, and is set to appear on-screen tentatively on January 30, 2014.
