Our first casting coup of the year goes to ABC Daytime’s “General Hospital.” The show has cast Donna Mills in a role that has yet to be revealed. Mills is known to many for playing the role of Abby Cunningham Fairgate Ewing Sumner on the primetime CBS soap, “Knots Landing.”
EW broke the news, and stated that insiders said Mills was the “only choice to play a new, big character” as the writers are fans of her work on “Knots.”
This is not Donna Mills’ first time on a daytime soap. She first appeared on “The Secret Storm” as Rocket, and then went on to play ex-nun Laura Donnelly on “Love is a Many Splendored Thing.”
Look for Donna Mills to first appear on “GH” sometime in late February.
