The Paley Museum announced today that it will host its latest PaleyLive program of 2025: An Evening with Seth Rogen and the Star-Studded Ensemble Cast of Apple TV+’s The Studio. This exclusive event features a special screening of an upcoming episode before it premieres on Apple TV+ followed by a discussion with the cast and creative team, and will take place on Thursday, March 27 at 7:00 pm at The Paley Museum in Midtown.
Maureen J. Reidy, President & CEO, The Paley Center for Media, released this statement:
“The Studio is a smart and hilarious look at the movie business featuring some of today’s most comedically gifted and beloved actors. We are thrilled to offer visitors to The Paley Museum a behind-the-scenes look at this highly anticipated new series and what promises to be an entertaining and hilarious conversation.”
Premiering globally on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, March 26, The Studio follows Matt Remick (Seth Rogen) as the newly appointed head of embattled Continental Studios. As movies struggle to stay alive and relevant, Matt and his core team of infighting executives battle their insecurities as they wrangle narcissistic artists and craven corporate overlords in the ever-elusive pursuit of making great films. With their power suits masking their never-ending sense of panic, every party, set visit, casting decision, marketing meeting, and award show presents them with an opportunity for glittering success or career-ending catastrophe. As someone who eats, sleeps and breathes movies, it’s the job Matt’s been pursuing his whole life, and it may very well destroy him.
The Paley Museum will screen an upcoming episode from the show followed by a discussion with cocreator, executive producer, star, writer, and director Seth Rogen, Catherine O’Hara (Amy), Kathryn Hahn (Maya), Ike Barinholtz (Sal Seperstein), and Chase Sui Wonders (Quinn).
To count down to this exciting event, The Paley Museum will screen the first two episodes of the series ahead of its March 26 premiere on the big screen in the Bennack Theater on Saturday, March 22 and Sunday March 23, with encore screenings on Wednesday, March 26 and Thursday, March 27. Free for Paley Members, included in General Admission for the public.
