As production has shut down due to the coronavirus outbreak, “General Hospital” is set to air encore episodes. Each encore will take place on every Friday of the week, and introduced as, “Flashback Friday.”
This practice, which some viewers will remember is not new to ABC Daytime, was put into place to compensate and extend the airing of the show’s new episodes. Fans will get to see them every Monday through Thursday.
Each “Flashback Friday” episode will introduced by a current cast member, highlighting what show is about to take place. Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos) will be introducing this Friday’s episode, which centers around the show’s 56th Anniversary. The anniversary show, which featured Leslie Charleson and Denise Alexander, plays a part as to what makes “GH” how it is today.
“General Hospital” airs weekdays on ABC Daytime.
