If you think trying to get an acting job in Hollywood is hard while being alive, is it any easier when you’re dead? So far, for Tate and Alex, it’s proven to be difficult. Brian Beacock and Jillian Clare star in the new web series, “Acting Dead.” The “zomedy” features two actors trying to make it in Hollywood in the afterlife. Don’t worry, kids. You don’t need to worry about the zombie apocalypse taking place on this show.
After filming ten episodes over a two-week period, “Acting Dead” not only provides the fun and snark, but also provides some familiar faces soap fans may recognize. Among the guest list that has dropped by the series include Sean Kanan, Patrika Darbo, Eric Martsolf, and Carolyn Hennesy, just to name a few.
In our podcast with Beacock and Clare, he gave us the story as to how he came up with the concept of the web series, and WHERE he thought of this creation. Also, we spoke about the recent Indie Series Awards that took place this past April, plus the special bonus episode that focused solely on Hennesy’s character.
New episodes of “Acting Dead” air every Tuesday, and you can catch the show at http://www.actingdead.com
