Australian actress, Ashleigh Brewer, is joining the cast of the CBS Daytime soap, “The Bold and the Beautiful.” She is set to play the newly created role of Ivy Forrester, niece of Eric Forrester (John McCook). While she may be a newcomer to the U.S. soaps, she is best known to Aussie audiences for her role as Kate Ramsay on the soap, “Neighbours.” Brewer played the part from 2009-2014, when the character was killed off after the actress decided to depart the series.

As “B&B” received its ninth nomination for the Monte Carlo Television Festival’s International TV Audience Awards, executive producer/head writer Bradley Bell released a statement on the addition of Brewer to the cast.

“We are thrilled to introduce Ashleigh at the festival, whose poise and talent are already well known in Australia and the UK. ‘Ivy’ is the daughter of Eric’s younger brother, ‘John Forrester’, who has been living in Sydney. A young, worldly designer, ‘Ivy’ is brought in to work on the new Hope for the Future jewelry line. It won’t be long before she finds herself deeply entangled in the lives and loves of our younger generation.”

Look for Ashleigh Brewer to make her debut on “The Bold and the Beautiful” in early July.
