The reunion that fans have been waiting for has been confirmed. Disney Channel released a new photo to what appears to be a return of some familiar faces for the “Boy Meets World” spinoff, “Girl Meets World.” It was recently announced that Lee Norris is reprising his role of Minkus for one episode, but now expect Cory’s parents and Shawn himself to also appear.
EW has confirmed that Betsy Randle, William Russ, and Rider Strong will be reprising their former roles for a special holiday episode. Ben Savage, Danielle Fishel, and William Daniels move their “Boy Meets World” characters of Cory, Topanga, and Mr. Feeney to the new show as regulars.
Fishel posted the same photo above to her Instagram account, stating:
“Happy to have these familiar faces on set with us this week! #GirlMeetsWorld”
Look for “Girl Meets World” to premiere later this summer on Disney Channel.
