Ever since joining ABC’s “Revenge,” Barry Sloane has proven himself worthy not just to fans, but also critics and directors. The actor has been given the go-ahead by the primetime soap to test the pilot season waters, while his character’s stay in the Hampton remains in question.
According to TV Line, if the show comes back for a season 4, Sloane has the option to return to “Revenge,” and the producers plan to use it in some capacity, which could include him being shown as recurring.
The article continues to report that Sloane is expected to receive offers from high profile projects, including Steven Spielberg’s “The Visitor,” which is another drama for ABC.
Barry Sloane joined the cast of “Revenge” during the 2012-2013 season as Aiden Mathis, first starting as a recurring character before being promoted to a series regular in the middle of season two. He is known to many UK soap audiences for his role as Niall Rafferty on “Hollyoaks.”
