As news broke out that Michelle Stafford is set to reprise her role of Phyllis Summers on, “The Young and the Restless,” it wasn’t long after that current actress, Gina Tognoni, would release a statement.
Tognoni, who has been playing the role since 2015, took to her Instagram page to share her goodbye to the place she has called home for almost 4 years.
Stafford, who currently plays Nina on ABC’s, “General Hospital,” originated the role of Phyllis in 1994. She would play the role until 1997, and return in 2000. She She then played the role up until 2014.
