Emmy-nominated Greg Rikaart has finished up his run as Leo Stark on NBC’s “Days of our Lives.” The character of Leo came into Salem as a male gay gigolo, and was presumed dead after a confrontation with Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith). However, surprises were in store when he came back from the dead.

Rikaart took to his Twitter page to express his love and time at the show:

“That’s a wrap on Leo. Thanks for all the love. Playing this role has been a gift. An absurdly fun and delicious gift. #DAYS”

Rikaart got his start in the soap world for playing the role of Kevin Fisher on, “The Young and the Restless.” He would soon reunite with his “Y&R” co-star, Judith Chapman, at “DAYS,” where she also played his mother there, Diana Colville.

Rikaart was honored with a Daytime Emmy nomination for “Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series” for his portrayal of Leo.
