“DAYS OF OUR LIVES” Take Home Top Honors at Daytime Emmys!

This past Sunday, April 29th, the 45th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards took place at the Pasadena Civic Center. Viewers were, and still able, to watch the ceremony online via the Daytime Emmy’s official Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube pages. This year was definitely a great ceremony put together. The focus, that many fans have wanted the ceremony to be about for a long time, put it on its daytime dramas. What also made it a great ceremony was the fact that the winners’ speeches were not cut off due to time constraints.

The ceremony featured segments from previous telecast ceremonies during the breaks, as well as celebrating the 55th anniversary of, “General Hospital,” and the 45th anniversary of, “The Young and the Restless.” Both of the tributes featured many classic clips that fans remembered and enjoyed.
