The 44th Annual Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards took place on Friday, April 28, 2017. These awards went to those who work behind the scenes of your favorite shows, that brings your favorite characters to life. Also, the technical awards also went to those that went have programs on cable and public access television, and shows that air on the weekend mornings.
Carolyn Hennesy served as red carpet host for the Daytime Emmy ceremonies. Viewers were able to watch during the Facebook Live feed just what goes on when their favorite stars walk down the carpet. I also got the chance to see myself on the feed as well, and let me tell you…it was a trip! Hennesy was nominated, and would win, for her role on the Emmy-winning series, “The Bay,” but fans also would recognize her from “General Hospital” as Diane Miller. From “True Blood” to “Jessie,” to even hosting the Indie Series Awards, Hennesy has done it all and then some!
