Julie Chen is about to make her daytime soap television debut. The host of “Big Brother” will be making an upcoming appearance on CBS Daytime’s “The Young and the Restless,” according to a report on Soaps in Depth. Chen will be playing herself, and will have interaction with Mishael Morgan’s Hilary Hamilton.
SID states that Hilary travels from Genoa City to Los Angeles in hopes that Chen will appear on the news magazine, “GC Buzz.” Several episodes leading up to Chen’s appearance will take place on the week of May 15th, which is May sweeps period.
Aside from hosting the popular summer reality show, Chen also serves as co-host of Emmy-winning, “The Talk.” Sheryl Underwood, who also hosts the daytime talk show, has made numerous appearances on “Y&R” and “The Bold and the Beautiful.”
