Season 2 of the hit comedy, “Life in Pieces,” is going to feature a lot more Hunter King. The actress has been promoted to a series regular on the CBS sitcom, according to a report on Deadline. She first made appearances as Clementine during the premiere season on a recurring basis.

King is best known for her role on the daytime drama, “The Young and the Restless.” She won two Daytime Emmy Awards for her work as Summer Newman. While the actress will continue to do both shows, King will now be recurring on the CBS soap.

Creator and executive producer Justin Adler had this to say to Deadline:

“To have a dramatic actress who excels at comedy is a rare find. From her first day on set, Hunter has felt like a member of our family, and we couldn’t be more excited to make it official.”

The season premiere of “Life in Pieces” will air this fall on CBS.
