Mary Beth Evans SWEEPS while CBS Leads with 17 Wins at the Daytime Emmy Awards!

This past Sunday, The 43rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards were held at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel, and there were plenty of surprises in store. Sonia Manzano was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award for her role on “Sesame Street” as Maria. Mario Lopez, Kevin Frazier, and Nancy O’Dell served as guides throughout the ceremony, and “General Hospital” took home the the coveted “Outstanding Drama Series” award.

Mary Beth Evans, who plays Kayla Brady on NBC’s “Days of our Lives,” won in ALL of her categories: “Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series,” “Outstanding Actress in a Digital Drama Series,” and also for her work as Producer on “The Bay the Series,” which won for “Outstanding Digital Drama Series.”
