In news that has probably shocked many “WilSon” fans, Freddie Smith has exited the role of Sonny Kiriakis on NBC Daytime’s “Days of our Lives.” According to Serial Scoop, the actor has finished taping two weeks ago.
“DAYS” taping schedule is five months ahead, so expect Smith to air throughout the summer. Could something between Paul and Will drive Sonny out of Salem for good?
No word on if the role will be recast. Smith began playing the role of Sonny Kiriakis on “DAYS” in 2011.
