In 2011, ABC Daytime announced the cancellation of two of its shows, “All My Children” and “One Life to Live.” As we said goodbye to those two, fans began to wonder would “General Hospital” be next? Fortunately, the show is doing better than ever on the alphabet network, and is celebrating its 51st year on television.
WABC New York’s Sandy Kenyon recently spoke with several “GH” cast members, as well as executive producer Frank Valentini, on how they were able to turn the show around and continue to make it a success in daytime.
